Cardinal Cupich's Response to Attorney General Report

In light of the Attorney General’s report and as a follow-up to Cardinal Cupich’s remarks we stand with all the victims of abuse and trust that God’s mercy and justice will bring healing and hope to all who have suffered in darkness for so long.
We will work tirelessly to rebuild confidence in our Church and in all those called to leadership and service.
We wish to assure you that we will do everything we can to make sure your children are safe and their physical and spiritual well being remains our top priority.
From this terrible moment in our history we are confident that together in prayer and compassion we will emerge stronger and more Christ like in all our efforts.
