Each year we celebrate and honor one woman from the parish community who shines from within. This annual award is presented to someone who has carried on the Mission of Christ in her family, in her church and her community and upholds Catholic values in her daily life. Her activities and involvement with the parish or other groups exemplify one or more of the corporal and spiritual works of mercy.
Qualifications to consider: Nominate a faith-filled woman, who regularly participates in worship and spiritual activities, outstanding volunteer service to the parish, school, or community who radiates Christ in her actions and words.
The Woman of the Year will be announced in September. There will be ACCW Breakfast in October and a luncheon in June to honor all Women of the Year. All parishioners are welcome to attend the luncheon.

RULES:

1. Anyone may submit a nomination.
2. Nominee must be a parishioner of St. Gerald. Paid employees of the church or the school are not eligible to be nominated.
3. Names submitted in the past that did not receive the award may be resubmitted to be considered for the current year.
4. Complete the Nomination Form OR provide a short letter explaining why this particular woman should be honored. It should mention her activities, involvement with the parish or other groups and special qualities that she has.
5. Please include your name and phone number with your nomination, in case more information is requested.
